kickstand bridge repairs
The bridge near the Kickstand (between MM 50 and MM 51) is being replaced. Repairs will begin on Tuesday, June 17th. There will be a detour in place underneath the Intermediate Terminal Building. Please slow down and use caution when passing through this area.
FUREVER HOMES RACE ON SATURDAY, 6/14
The FURever Homes 8K, 5K and 1-mile races will take place on and around the Capital Trail this Saturday, June 14th from 7 AM to 1 PM. The race will take place between MM 0 and MM 3. Expect increased pedestrian traffic in the area. Please use caution when passing through!
Sewer construction near mm 45
There will be a temporary detour between MM 45 & MM 46 for sewer line construction. Construction is expected to last for 2 weeks. Please use caution when passing through this area.
Lighting Installation Planned for 2025 near mm 51 (Rocketts Landing)
Beginning in 2025, self-sustaining lighting will be installed along the Capital Trail throughout the Rocketts Landing area (between MM 50 - MM 51) for increased pedestrian safety. This installation may include workers and equipment on or near the Trail. Please use caution when proceeding through the area.
bridge deck work scheduled for 2025
The bridge deck just west of MM 3 is scheduled to get an epoxy overlay. The estimated timeframe is Fall/Winter 2025.
